edit58 is thrilled to have collaborated with SÆ-RIMA; a homewares brand with a conscience, launched by interior designer Rebecca Simmons, to create our 'Patch' Cushion Collection.
Using fabric remnants from the interiors industry (be that scraps, sample swatches or rolls), together we have created a unique range of cushions destined for your home or project, thus diverting the waste from landfill.
Each cushion is handmade using two different fabrics; a base fabric which covers the front and reverse and then a ‘patch’ square in a contrasting fabric. The cushion edge, along with the perimeter of the patch are hand finished in a wonderful blanket stitch that adds a nostalgic, decorative, hand sewn touch to each cushion, and was inspired by a much-loved cushion belonging to Rebecca’s grandmother.
By playfully combining plains, florals, stripes, and geometric prints from some of our favourite fabric brands (Howe, Soane, Flora Soames, Lewis & Wood, Tissus D’Helene ), our ‘Patch’ cushions work in both contemporary and traditional spaces and in all manner of interior schemes.
Each cushion is available as a pair or mix and match your ‘Patch’ for a more relaxed vibe.
